I had a great weekend! We celebrated my dear friend umagahd for her birthday AND Dragaversary with missbutterflyqueen at barlecocktail and then I was at cabaretmado sunday for complètement buzzées with marladeer tracy_trash_42 gisele_lullaby and kitanasweett where I genuinely had a blast (thanks ladies for the invite!)! The highlight tho just might have been this moment if I had to pick one (sorry!). Unplanned and in the moment, the right thing to do seemed to be me squeezing through a stool with Uma sitting on top of it talking into both her and my mics, because honestly why not? Uma, thank you for keeping the stool in place so I could make it through this obstacle I found in front of me. I remember the first time you were onstage and I was by a staircase, now I seem to have found myself inside of a stool that you are sitting on top of onstage, during a show, in front of a lot of ppl. I think this pretty much sums it up well, don't you? Happy Birthday, friend! Thank you stupidvoices for immortalizing this moment so we can bask in such a moment for however long we are happy to look at it! This week I am a comedic guest contestant at the first ever battleofwits then Thursday is my actual, factual, real live music concert with guests bigdaddymtl and krystalknocked (both events at divingbellsocialclub pls come! ) and the Friday I am hosting La Totale at la.caserne.cirque and then I am taking a nap, and reading a book!
