    Update April 7th, 2020

    We are fully operational and shipping as per usual. We have increased our measures to ensure the safety of our staff and customers by implementing a strict sanitation protocol on all inbound and outbound packages, and providing medical grade gloves for our shipping staff. We have also prioritized having sanitizers at all packing desks and all packages being wiped down before shipping. Do expect slight delays as a result of approximately 1-2 business days.

    Update April 1st, 2020

    Shipping will resume April 6th 2020. We will maintain a minimum shipping team. Please expect some delays. Orders will be processed and shipped based on date received.

    Update March 20th, 2020

    As part of our proactive approach to everyone's safety, we have instructed Shoefreaks employees to work from home.  Our shipping department will be closed temporarily until further notice. Expect shipping delays until the Covid-19 situation has been deemed clear. We’re confident that as a team —  as an industry and community — we will get through this time with minimal interruptions.

    Q&A Concerning Covid-19

    Customer support:  As part of our proactive approach to our community’s safety, we have instructed our customer support staff to work from home.  You will receive the same great service and timely responses to any questions you may have.  

    Shipping : Our current team of shippers are diligently following the prevention recommendations from health authorities, such as proper hand washing. We have also prioritized having sanitizers at all packing desk and all packages being wiped down before shipping.  None of our current shippers have traveled abroad or have had contact with friends and family that have traveled. 

    Transit Times:  At this time Canada Post and Fedex have informed us that their network is at 100% operational.   We continue to monitor the situation daily.  


    Update March 15th, 2020

    On a daily basis, the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is bringing so much stress and uncertainty to our lives. As a company, the majority of our employees are now working from home in hopes to stay healthy.

    As COVID-19 spreads, Shoefreaks continues to monitor the situation and respond accordingly. As part of our proactive approach to our everyone's safety, we have instructed Shoefreaks employees to work remotely and to suspend all business-related travel for the time being
    As a society, we should jointly commit to flatten the curve of the spread of COVID-19, and we encourage all business leaders to move employees to work from home if they can. That being said, many people do not have the option to work remotely, and we realize how lucky we are to work in an industry that is able to easily operate from home.

    Shoefreaks is well-prepared to accommodate our remote workforce. We already have in place all of the tools we need to communicate virtually, internally as well as with partners and customers. We also have procedures in place to ensure that our customer service is continuously available, even under the most extreme circumstances. 
    Our top priority is to continue giving customers excellent support and continue to ship customer packages from a sterile and sanitized environment. 

    We’re confident that as a team —  as an industry and community — we will get through this time with minimal interruptions. It’s business as usual: it just looks a little different right now. Remain calm, be responsible, and stick together. Most important: stay safe and healthy.
