"The Passion-708 is a cute, accessible starter pair for anyone new to Pleasers or platform heels generally. That said, experienced dancers are right to flag one key issue: at 7", they’re simply not tall enough to offer the balance and foot positioning you get with 8"–9"+ Pleasers. Because of that, they don’t feel as naturally stable or comfortable over longer wear. For me, these function more as a backup pair than a go-to. I don’t reach for them often, but they’re useful for breaking into Pleasers, practicing basic walking, and doing light, low-impact dancing. Comfort-wise, they’re decent for the style of shoe. The standard blow-dryer-and-sock trick helps expand the upper and makes them more foot-friendly initially. However, they do contract again, so consistent wear is necessary before they truly mould to your foot. Until that happens, there’s some risk of rubbing or pressure, especially if worn for extended sessions. Bottom line: good as a first pair or practice shoe, but if you already know you’re comfortable in platforms, you’ll likely prefer 8" or higher for better stability and longer wear."
