Features lace-up, inside zip closure, vegan synthetic upper.
Sizing Women

Do these run true to size?

Yes, the Flamingo-896LC runs true to size. Pleaser does not carry half sizes. If between sizes, go up.

How does the platform affect the height?

The nan-inch stiletto heel delivers full height with no platform offset. This is a demanding height best suited to experienced heel wearers. The sole keeps the foot in a clean line throughout.

What should I know before wearing the Flamingo-896LC for the first time?

Wear the Flamingo-896LC at home for 30 to 45 minutes before your first class or performance. Use the inner zip for easy entry and pull on a pair of thin socks for the first few wears to help the upper soften and reduce friction. Once the material relaxes, these hold up well for regular studio and stage use. Suitable for smooth indoor surfaces only.

Who is the Flamingo-896LC best suited for?

Pole dancers, pole fitness students, exotic dancers and drag artists who want the security and coverage of a boot silhouette at stage height. The Flamingo-896LC is also popular for stage performances, photoshoots and boudoir photography where a full-length boot adds to the visual.

Is the Flamingo-896LC vegan, how do I care for it, and how long will it last?

Wipe with a damp cloth after each session and store in the original box between wears. Keep on smooth indoor surfaces for best longevity. These hold up well with regular care.

Great heels but

"I’ve purchased these as a beginner. They pretty comfortable except for the toe part, however, this issue gets resolved with 4 wears as it looses up eventually. The only concern I have is the laces which are not really securing your foot. I pulled my foot a couple of time but I think it’s mostly me not getting used to the height of the heels. When you dance laces are loosing up in the middle and don’t hold your foot in the middle. So, I’m have to check and tighten it up all the time to make sure I don’t fall. Other than that it’s not a bad shoe."

Love them

"So far these have been my favourite boot. They have loosened over the amount of times I've worn them, but they are still my preferred choice. I wear socks underneath and that always help since they are a bit loose when tightened to the max"

Fashion and Function -- Together, At Last

"I'm a professional performer and these are by far my favourite shoes to work in. Don't be put off if the rigid lace covering feels a bit "loose"--these shoes are more secure and actually give you *more* range of motion and control than plastic-covered sandals. The lace and open toes/heel keep these breathable and virtually stink-free, and your toes don't get squished as is common with closed-toe boots. I like the front laces because you can tighten or loosen the lacy cover to accommodate socks, athletic tape, ankle braces, awkwardly-shaped feet (such as mine...size 6, bony, no arches, and slender + wide in random places), and so on. I would recommend these to anyone who enjoys the Russian style of exotic pole, with lots of fluidity and spiraling, looping, and shape-shifting moves. You can essentially treat these like pointe shoes and innovate your dancing for ages. I would also recommend these to anyone trying a taller platform for the first time (I went from 7 inches to 8 inches and these were my first pair), since they are so secure, roomy, and stable around the ankles. I will always keep a fresh pair of these in my pole gear inventory. They have been invaluable to me and I hope they don't retire them until I do, haha!"

These are very loose even

"These are very loose even when I tie them up to their tightest!!! Some other girls also think the same of this particular shoe, they add the extra clear anle strap that you can buy, but for the price, I do not think that we should have to buy an extra strap just so that we can use this shoe... very disappointed."
