First Time Stompy Boots Buyer; Great Experience!
"These are my first ever pair of big stompy boots, so I wasn't certain what to expect outside of my friends experiences with their stompers. Despite what I have heard about large platform boots, these were pleasantly comfortable! The best shoe size that fits me is a 5 1/2, but these boots only came in full sizes. So I went for a size 6 and they fit almost exactly how a size 5 1/2 would fit me! The wider toe box is also great as I like a toe box that doesn't push against my toes. A few important notes to look out for if you're interested in purchasing these boots is that I found that the boots do fit a more narrow foot better than a wider foot. The only uncomfortable part about them is that if you are someone who weight bears more on their heels instead of evenly across your whole foot, you might find these boots a little bit uncomfortable on the bottom of your heel after a while, but that is to be expected. (And of course they're a bit heavy, which was also to be expected). The zipper can be a bit stiff upon first opening them, but they should loosen up overtime. If you are someone who walks with their legs often brushing you might find that the inner strap of the buckle catches on each other. Not a big problem at all, but if that's something that may bother you I suggest just folding in the inside buckle strap into itself. There was also a rather strong chemical smell when I first took them out of the box. Not a problem, just be ready for it to smell like nail polish remover for a while as they air out haha With all that said, I 100% recommend these boots as someone's first pair of big stompers!"
